About the event
Mental Health Awareness Month intends to raise awareness about the importance of mental health in our lives. We emphasize the mental health needs of our Black and Brown Queer and Trans brothers, sisters, and siblings. This panel highlights the diverse experiences of educators and psychologists in addressing health and healing in our Trans* communities. All of the panelists will explore Black Queer Joy, the current challenges and opportunities in our community, and how to support thriving with our trans siblings.
Meet our panelists:
Cory Nyamora, Psy.D. (He/Him/His) Dr. Cory Nyamora is the founder and director of Endurance – A Sports & Psychology Center. This company provides psychological services, sports training, and travel to people of all ages.
